A new online shop with SAP integration —
for Held AG.
01 · Starting point
Held AG wanted to expand its direct sales — and needed a shop for it that does more than take orders: one that carries them through to where they are actually processed.
02 · Challenge
The new shop had to reflect Swiss requirements — and it could not become an island: order processing runs in SAP.
03 · What we did
We adapted the shop system to Swiss requirements, designed for acceptance among the people who would use it, and automated the day-to-day work by integrating with SAP through a middleware — over a project running twelve months.
04 · Result
A shop that runs alongside the group's SAP — confirmed by the work that followed: campaign integration, bulk upload of new products, migration of domain and URLs.

What we took away
Follow-up work is the most reliable measure of a shop project — it shows that the solution holds up in everyday use.
A sales channel only carries itself once the order arrives in the leading system without a step in between. Otherwise the effort grows with every order.
Should your shop work together with your ERP?
We will tell you which connection pays off — and which does not.
