Is connecting your systems worth it for your business?

When your staff copy data from one program into another, it costs time and leads to errors. The Integration Check uses your own figures to calculate how much effort that is each year. It also shows up to what amount connecting your systems pays for itself. It takes about three minutes, with no sign-up.

What you get

  • Your current effort per year in hours, Swiss francs and full-time positions
  • The amount up to which a solution pays for itself in 12, 24 or 36 months
  • A ranking of which process frees up the most time
  • An assessment of whether your systems and data are ready to be connected
  • Everything as a PDF for your management, if you wish

How it works

  1. Choose a process, for example “Transferring orders into the ERP”.
  2. Enter how often it happens and how long it takes. Where you can only estimate, an estimate is enough.
  3. You see the result straight away and can change every assumption.

The check

Up to five processes. Every value can be changed and the result is recalculated.

Choose from the list or enter your own name

e.g. online shop, ERP, accounting, Excel

For seasonal business, use the annual average

Or: hours per month in total

How much manual work remains afterwards?Suggestion per process: favourable, medium or cautious. Checks and special cases remain
How often do things need correcting, and how long does that take?Only if you know

Salary plus employer contributions. Suggestion: CHF 64 (Swiss average, Federal Statistical Office)

Leave blank if unknown

Are your systems ready?
Does every program involved offer an interface (API) or a data export?
Is it defined which system wins when data differs?
Are numbers and master data consistent across all systems?
Does the process follow fixed rules, with few exceptions?
Will the programs stay the same for the next two years?

How we calculate

We multiply volume, time and hourly cost, then subtract the effort that remains after connecting your systems. All assumptions are shown with the result and can be changed. The result is the calculated value of the working time. Whether this lowers your costs depends on what your team does with the time.

What the check cannot do

It does not test whether your programs can technically be connected, and it is not a quote. What a solution costs depends on the effort: existing interfaces, data volume, special cases. We clarify this in a conversation.

Request the report

The result stays on the page. We send the report as a PDF to your address.

The calculation runs in your browser. We only receive your details when you request the report.

This is where the report goes

The result rests exclusively on your own figures. It is not a quote and not an examination of your programs.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need technical knowledge?

No. You describe your process, not the technology.

Where do the suggested values come from?

The hourly cost comes from the labour cost statistics of the Swiss Federal Statistical Office. The values for remaining effort are estimates from our project experience, per process. You can change every value.

What happens to my details?

The calculation runs in your browser. We only receive data if you request the report. Your request with name, email address and phone number is deleted after 24 months. An anonymised identifier of your IP address is deleted after 30 days. Your contact in our CRM is kept as long as there is a business relationship or until you object.

Is the result a quote from om3?

No. The amount shows the limit up to which a solution pays off, based on your own figures. It applies to any offer, including from other providers.

Discuss your result

We review the assumptions with you, clarify technical feasibility and tell you which solution fits, even if the answer is “not yet”. The initial consultation takes 30 minutes by video and is free of charge.
